Meet Our Educators
Christine Kowalchik
Artistic Director/Founder

Award-winning choreographer and founder/artistic director of Show Tyme Academy, Christine Kowalchik holds BA degrees in both Acting and Dance Choreography from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA. Born in New York state, but raised primarily in Maine, Christine classically trained in Balanchine Technique, jazz, tap and modern, at Maine State Ballet. During her college career she was part of an improvisational dance company, “6Meters” and choreographed for and performed in multiple main stage productions. After college Christine enjoyed studying and choreographing on three continents, including her personal favorite: Africa, prior to setting down roots here in Missoula, Mt in 2013. Locally Christine has choreographed over a dozen MCT’s productions, some of her favorites include: Shrek! The Musical, A Christmas Story, Mamma Mia, “Elf” the Musical, and Rent, and spent over a decade as choreographer/director for MCT’s Performing Arts Camp. She has also spent time choreographing for Frenchtown High School and has spent the past three seasons working as a choreographer for BigFork Summer Playhouse. Her choreography has been recognized nationally both on screen and stage as choreographer for “My Grandpa’s Fiddle” which earned a Telley Award in 2018, and in the competitive world has earned top adjudications at New York City Dance Alliance’s Nationals and multiple DanceOne events. Christine’s students have gone on to attend prestigious summer intensives, private schools, and BFA programs, which is most proud of. When not running the studio, teaching technique classes, or choreographing for company, you will find her at home with her most favorite little human in the entire world- she and her husband’s son, Zander.

Annika is thrilled to be continuing her career here at Show Tyme Academy, in her 8th year teaching with us! After graduating from the University of Montana, Annika has continued to utilize her organizational skills within her position as the Studio Manager of Show Tyme. In the classroom, you can catch her teaching jazz, pom, tinies classes, and choreographing for Company of course! When not at the studio, Annika loves to bake, color, travel, and play bingo! She also enjoys choreographing for and performing in shows at MCT. Born and raised in the performing arts community of Missoula, Annika’s life-long passion is to continue to spread her love for the arts and performing through her students.
Alma Stephens

Alma Stephens hails from Golden, Colorado where she began her dance training at the age of three years old. For the past eighteen years, she has studied ballet, tap, hip hop, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, pom and modern styles. Stephens holds a degree in Dance and an Entertainment Management Certificate from the University of Montana where she was a member of the UM Dance Team for four years. Alma is so excited to continue working with the talented students of Show Tyme Academy as she heads into her fourth year on staff.
Addie Wood

Addie comes to Show Tyme Academy with a 12 year competitive dance background, as well as 4 years of assistant teaching. She is currently rounding out her college education with student teaching and is assistant coaching for the University of Montana Dance Team. Addie loves working with kids and spreading her joy and passion for dance. Throughout her competitive years, Addie received multiple high-level scholarships at conventions, including an “electro-tap” scholarship, which provided a year-long assistance opportunity with NRG dance project.
Haley Nord

Haley began her dance training right here in Missoula at the age of nine. She has engaged in cultural performances throughout the globe. Some of these include performances related to the 2008 Beijing Olympics and Shanghai World Expo 2010. During her travels in China, she performed the leading role of “White Haired Girl” (Famous during China’s cultural revolution). Haley was a part of Young Tanzsommer and performed and trained throughout Italy, Austria Germany, and Romania. After Her Travels Haley decided to continue her education in Dance, Receiving her Bachelors of Arts in Dance with an emphasis in Ballet from the University of Montana. Haley is thrilled to be returning to Show Tyme Academy for her 4th season to be teaching Ballet!
Jenifer Kerber

Jen is from Missoula, has been dancing for thirty years, teaching for twenty years and has been professionally involved in the dance world for fourteen years. Her love for dancing, teaching and choreography opened doors for her world travels which include Russia, China and Pakistan. She holds a degree from University of Iowa in dance, has certifications in Progressing Ballet & Contemporary technique, and also is a certified trainer in the GYROTONIC® method and an apprentice in the GYROKINESIS® method. She will be teaching ballet and tap during her second season with Show Tyme.
Colleen Rosbarsky

Colleen is honored to be teaching pointe 8 at Show Tyme. She teaches theater jazz at the Rocky Mountain Dance Conference and choreographs annually for Garden City Ballet’s The Nutcracker, which she directed in 2012. Colleen has a B.F.A. in Ballet from the University of Utah. Earlier in her career she danced with Utah Ballet and Gus Giordano Jazz Dance Chicago. In addition to teaching dance, Colleen loves musical theater. Recent choreography credits include: Clue at Arizona Broadway Theater, Cinderella at Fort Peck Summer Theater, Bright Star at the University of Montana Department of Theater and Dance, Escape to Margaritaville, Freaky Friday for Bigfork Summer Playhouse and Young Frankenstein at Missoula Community Theater, to name a few. Recent performance credits include 40 over 40 at West Side Theater, the role of “Marian” in Bridges of Madison County at Missoula Community Theater and “Mayzie” in Seussical at Fort Peck Summer Theater. Colleen has a daytime adventure as a licensed esthetician at Skin Chic and enjoys offering services to clients as another creative outlet.
Kate Augusto

Kate is a seasoned dancer and choreographer. Originally from Pennsylvania, she now calls Missoula home. Her choreography has been presented across the United States at venues such as The Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts (Washington, DC) and ZSpace (San Francisco, CA), as well as internationally in Guatemala and Peru. She has been on faculty at CityDance Conservatory, The Washington Ballet, The National Cathedral School and Shawl-Anderson Dance Center. Kate, and her partner Bruno Augusto, Co-Direct Arts & Above. She holds a M.F.A. degree in Performance and Choreography from the State University of New York at Brockport, as well as GYROTONIC® and GYROKINESIS® trainer certificates.
Toree Benson

Toree is a Montana based artist, who received her BFA in Dance at The Dance Center of Columbia College Chicago. Benson has presented work throughout the midwest and western United States in places such as, Westside Theater, The Dance Center Stage, Meraki Dance Company Showcase, and Marshall County Arts and Culture Alliance. She has performed in Bare Bait Dance’s Roadshow in Missoula, MT, LINK Dance Festival in Salt Lake City, We Are Collective in Chicago, and Camping Festival in Paris, France. Benson has worked alongside competitive dance teams in the midwest and western states, where she has been awarded regional and national awards for her choreography. Toree has also helped coach national champions. Benson’s pedagogue style stems from floor work, release technique, and many others! She enjoys meeting new artists/students and being a small part in their ongoing artistic journey!

Hallie is thrilled to return to Show Tyme as an employee after years of dancing under their wonderful staff. She is currently a sophomore at the University of Montana, studying musical theatre and dance. Hallie’s dance training includes ballet, jazz, tap, and hip-hop. She has choreographed groups for cabaret shows, dance concerts, and musicals, such as Rock of Ages, and also taught hip-hop and ballet for a college dance class in Helena, MT. Raised in Montana, Hallie loves to hike in the summer and ski in the winter (and spring). She’s excited to continue working with these talented dancers at Show Tyme!
Linnea Connery

Having Been raised in Missoula, Montana, Linnea grew up performing with the internationally acclaimed Missoula Children’s Theater. As an adult, she continued her work with MCT as a Tour Actor/Director, bringing enriching theater experiences to children throughout the Midwest. She regularaly performas with MCT in their community season, most recently in Beauty and the Beast, Mel Brooks’ Young Frankenstein, Spongebob the Musical, and many more. She is so grateful to teach at Show Tyme Academy, helping students find their love for musical theater!
Andrew Fortunate

Andrew began tumbling at a very young age at the YMCA. Loving it enough, he went into gymnastics and trained all the way through high school, earning the Regional Champion title his junior year. He began coaching at age 14 and fell in love with it immediately. He spent the next 14 years coaching students from preschoolers all the way up to Griz Cheerleaders. He also coached several individuals and teams to State titles. Andrew has spent the last handful of years building stages and rigging for concerts with Rocky Mountain Rigging. He is extremely excited to get back to teaching and is grateful towards Show Tyme for the opportunity.
Madyson Riedinger

Camryn Rhodes

Camryn is from Great Falls, Montana and danced competitively from the ages of 8-18. She then obtained a BS in Wildlife Biology from the University of Montana, where she was a member of the UM Dance Team for four years. While on the dance team she held the title of co-captain as a sophomore and captain for her junior and senior seasons. She then moved to Phoenix, Arizona to dance professionally in the NFL with the Arizona Cardinals! She is now back in Missoula working full time, while also choreographing for college dance and cheer teams around the country.
Bruno Augusto

Bruno is the co-founder and co-artistic director of Arts & Above; an art maker, performer, and educator based in Missoula, Montana. His work encompasses dance, music, poetry, and film, and has been presented throughout the United States, as well as the Caribbean, Africa and Europe. His professional and artistic work spans 24 years and counting, as he continues creating, performing and educating in communities across the world. Mr. Augusto holds a diploma from Escuela Nacianal de Artes (Havana, Cuba), a BFA from Towson University in dance performance, and a MFA from Tisch School of the Arts at NYU in choreography.
Hallie Rumsey

Hallie Rumsey began her training at The Academy of International Ballet of the Performing Arts in Media, Pennsylvania. She started her professional career in 2015 at Ballet Theatre of Maryland. She went on to dance at American Repertory Ballet in Princeton, New Jersey, for 5 seasons, where she performed various principal and soloist roles. In 2022, she moved to Santa Barbara, California, to join State Street Ballet, where she danced for 1 season. She then moved to Tokyo, Japan, to dance with Ballet V Tokyo. Upon returning to the United States, she danced as a guest artist for various companies. In 2024, she joined The Grand Kyiv Ballet for a tour of Swan Lake and Giselle. For the 2024/25 season, she will perform in a tour of Swan Lake and The Nutcracker in Belgium, Holland, and Germany, and as a principal guest artist and teacher for Garden City Ballet in Montana.

Anne Bashor grew up playing the piano from the age of five. She received a full scholarship to the University of Wisconsin-Madison where she received her Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance with an emphasis in Piano Pedagogy. Anne has had a private piano studio for over twenty years and currently has a studio of wonderful piano students at Show Tyme Academy in Missoula, Montana. She is an accompanist for the University of Montana, many area choral festivals and the Missoula County Public Schools. Anne also spends her summer working with students at the Missoula Children’s Theatre, both through the Next Step Prep program and their Performing Arts Camp. Anne has performed with a number of chamber groups and performs in multiple recitals every year. In her spare time she loves cooking with her husband, hiking to mountain tops and waterfalls, and reading books of all kinds. All of life is further enjoyed with the presence of Teaching Assistant Mindy, a five-pound chihuahua, who is most content at the piano.
Eva Joy Erickson

Eva Joy Erickson has had a passion for dance as long as she can remember! She took her first dance class at age 3 and has loved performing on stage ever since. She has been in several theater productions: acting, singing, and dancing. She is a versatile dancer, who loves all genres! Eva Joy has received multiple scholarships over the years and enjoys pursuing opportunities to learn and perform. Erickson is excited to head into her fourth year as a Student Teacher at Show Tyme Academy. She’s looking forward to giving her students the opportunity to grow and learn in a caring and fun environment!

Ruby Ferriter has been dancing at Show Tyme for five years, and has been on the competitive company for four of them. This is her first year teaching hip hop and she is so excited! Her favorite style of dance is jazz funk, but she also loves pom and hip hop as well! She loves competing, earning scholarships, and taking classes with her teammates. When she’s not at dance you can find her hanging out with her friends or shopping at Target.
Mallory Newbold

Mallory Newbold, a Junior at Hellgate high school, has been at Show Tyme Academy since 2017. An active Senior Select Company member, Mallory is no stranger to the stage and was a founding member of STA’s Nationals team back in 2021. Dance has travelled Mallory coast to coast earning some of the top adjudications and prestigious scholarships both regionally and nationally and is excited to be back teaching both Ballet 1 and Tiny Ballerinas this season. When she is not in class, rehearsal, or teaching, you will find her working at Mountain Berry Bowls or attending local concerts or music events.

Gabby Morelli is a senior at Hellgate High School who took her first dance class at just 2 year old. She has been dancing ever since that day. She’s competed for 8 years, going to events around the country, winning multiple awards and scholarships. Gabby has also choreographed for theater productions at both Hellgate High School and Missoula Children’s Theatre as well as participating shows at Missoula Children’s Theatre.

Elaina Baldwin has been active in dance and theater in Missoula for over 14 years. She’s a founding member of Show Tyme Academy and a proud STA Alumni. Over the years, Elaina trained in all dance styles, taught many classes and performed in many recitals and winter shows. Elaina is currently a sophomore at Dean College in Massachusetts, pursuing degrees in Dance and Arts and Entertainment Management. When Elaina is not at school, you can find her at the front desk, subbing or running the Just Dance Camps in the summer. Elaina loves her STA family and can’t wait to return over her breaks.
Angela Dailey

Angela Dailey Voice Studio Owner, located at Show Tyme Performing Arts Center
Mezzo Soprano, Angela Joy Dailey, is a Missoula resident and alumni of the University of Montana. She holds a Bachelor’s in vocal performance and a Master’s in vocal/opera studies from The Royal Northern College of Music, Manchester UK. She is an active vocal teacher and adjudicator in the Missoula community and beyond. Upon returning from the UK she had the honor of representing Montana as a finalist in the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions in Seattle. Standout roles include, Suzuki in RNCM’s Madama Butterfly, Dorabella in East Bay Aria Club’s Cosi Fan Tutte, and the Mother in Montana Lyric Opera’s Amahl and the Night Visitor’s. She has been a soloist with the Missoula, Helena, and Glacier symphonies and spent many years singing with Missoula’s Dolce Canto. She had the privilege of serving on the board of directors for the International Choral Festival from 2010-2016. She is also a member of the very active Americana band, Wolf and the Moons, and holds a full time position as mama to a four year old son and two year old daughter.
